August 1, 2026, Part 2
9-noon
2-5 pm

You can feel confident and excited about the swim if you first understand the water inside and out. That’s Part 1 of this two-part series.

Today is about gaining confidence in the ocean: open water and salt water. We’re at a large, long lifeguarded beach, the #1 beach in the USA. Ocean and open water basics are essential for every swimmer and triathlete to be safe.
Let’s talk about holes in the ocean floor, dropoffs, waves, critters, sighting the buoy and the finish, and coping with other competitors. Come with your full list of questions about resting when you’re tired, floating, gear, dark water, deep water, the chaos, pressure, and dread. It’s possible for you to feel like a swimmer and do tris with full confidence.

Taught by the lead author of Conquer Your Fear of the Triathlon Swim, a former triathlete, herself. Miracle Swimming School for Adults has taught only adults and only adults with fear in water for over 40 years, since 1983. We wrote the book: Conquer Your Fear of Water, A Revolutionary Way to Learn to Swim Without Ever Feeling Afraid.

Part 1 is March 1, 2026: Swimming Survival and Confidence for Triathletes.
Personalized coaching and transformation.
