Three days: four sessions of three hours: one hour on land plus 2 hours in the Gulf of Mexico. Take the skills you learned–5 Circles, floating, maneuvering, swimming–from your Essentials 1 into the ocean. Learn about salt water, getting in, living water, waves, breakers, currents, rip currents, undertow, critters, water toys, lifejackets, and beach weather safety.

Class Schedule:
Day 1: 9-noon and 3:30–6:30 Lido Beach
Day 2: 9-noon Siesta Beach
Day 3: 8-11 Lido Beach
