IMPORTANT NOTE:  READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER

There are skills you need to bring coming into Day 1 of DWP.

Upon arriving at this class the first day, you MUST be able to:

  • Jump calmly into the deep end
  • Rest, float, and "roll around" peacefully in the middle of the deep end for at least 10 minutes

If you feel uneasy thinking about these things or if you are uncertain about your ability to do them, enroll in the Deep Water Play Appetizer course instead.

May 18: 10-1 Arlington

May 22: 10-1 Arlington
May 23: 9-6 Warm Mineral Springs, Florida. 51 minerals and 85 degrees all year round.

A $400 nonrefundable deposit reserves your space in class. Balance due by April 2, 2026.

Become comfortable in every corner of the pool. Learn to change directions, go up and down, maneuver at will. Master your nose. Bring a wetsuit shirt and fins—preferably full foot rubber snorkeling fins that fit like slippers. Smaller fitness fins are okay. Full foot rubber snorkeling fins are pictured on the swimmer above. "Sporti Essential Floating Swim Fins" is an example.

  • Arlington Park Pool is a large city pool with a 13.5 foot deep end.
  • Sun Outdoors is an RV resort that offers indoor and outdoor pools. We go indoors for stormy weather.
  • Warm Mineral Springs will be our "graduation day." Includes admission and group picnic lunch.
  • We will take up to 8 students. We'll have at least one spotter.
  • Lyft, Uber available
  • Class size minimum: 6, maximum 8 with spotter

The Marriott Residence Inn almost across the street from the SRQ airport and NCF pool usually offers us a rate of $139 for a suite with bedroom, living room and kitchen.

The course fee is nonrefundable with the exception of our Guarantee.
