To take this course, be comfortable in deep water, first.
In Deep Water Play: become comfortable in every corner of the pool whether at the surface or at the bottom. Learn to change directions, go up and down, maneuver at will. Master your nose. Bring a wetsuit shirt and fins—preferably full foot rubber snorkeling fins that fit like slippers. Smaller fitness fins are okay. Full foot rubber snorkeling fins are pictured on the swimmer above. "Sporti Essential Floating Swim Fins" is an example.
July 31: 9-5 Warm Mineral Springs, Florida. 51 minerals and 85 degrees all year round.

Stay where you wish.

  • Arlington Park Pool is a large outdoor city pool with a 13.5 foot deep end.
  • Sun Outdoors is an RV resort that has a 6 flt 3" deep end and a slide. It offers an indoor pool if there is lightning.
  • Warm Mineral Springs will be our "graduation day." Includes admission and group picnic lunch.
  • We will take up to 8 students. There will be at least one spotter.
  • Lyft, Uber available
  • Class size minimum: 5, maximum 8 with spotter

Lodging is not included in the course fee.
