Arlington Park Pool is a large city pool with a 13.5 foot deep end.
Sun Outdoors is an RV Resort with cottages and two pools, indoors and outdoors with a slide.

This guides Essentials 2 graduates who have not mastered comfort in deep water to comfort in deep water in preparation for the Deep Water Play course. To be eligible for this course, you must be able to float in the deep end near the wall on front and back and vertically, and bob in the deep end by the wall. You do not hold your legs up when you float. To be eligible for Deep Water Play on May 17, you meet the requirements on the Course Content page.

Bring a wetsuit shirt and fins—preferably full foot rubber snorkeling fins that fit like slippers. Smaller fitness fins are okay. Full foot rubber snorkeling fins are pictured on the swimmer above. “Sporti Essential Floating Swim Fins” is an example.

A $400 nonrefundable deposit reserves your space in class. We’ll have at least one spotter.

The Marriott Residence Inn nearly across the street from the SRQ airport will provide a link as our date approaches. The rate is usually $139 for a suite with bedroom, living room and kitchen. Other hotels (without MrSw rates) are closer to Arlington Pool and Sun Outdoors.
