FAQ
- Q: Will we use fins?
- A: Yes
- Q: Will I be sharing a lane?
- A: Yes. If the class is full, a third of the time you’ll have your own lane. The rest of the time you’ll share with one person. It’s important to know how to share a lane.
- Q: If I’ve only taken Essentials 1, may I take Freestyle?
- A: You may, but you most likely won’t master most of the steps that week.
- Q: What’s the best preparation to optimize my week at the Freestyle & Turns course?
- A: The more you “know the water,” the faster you will be able to absorb the physical steps of freestyle. We recommend that you swim and play in the water for at least 60 hours after graduating from Essentials 1 to be ready for Freestyle & Turns. You can do that on your own or in our courses.
Imagine Being Able to Swim Laps
Picture yourself carrying your swim bag into the gym and getting your workout (or meditation time) by doing laps. The pool is a different world. Without effort, build endurance, become more flexible, and re-shape your body by swimming easily.
